Heidi Klum Secretly Married Tom Kaulitz in February and We Had No Idea

Surprise! Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz have actually been married for months. The supermodel and Tokio Hotel musician legally wed February 2019, TMZ reports, which is about two months after their December 2018 engagement. People confirmed that the duo obtained a confidential marriage certificate in California. The husband and wife have not yet publicly responded to the marital news.

The couple first struck up dating rumors in March 2018 before making their public debut as a couple in May that year in Cannes, according to People. Klum told Ellen DeGeneres that she first met Kaulitz in February 2018 at a friend’s party.

“It was to the point so bad when I couldn’t even look at him,” she said of her first impression of the rocker. “You know when you’re attracted to someone so badly you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t even look at him.’

The model announced her engagement with a black and white photo on Instagram on December 24. “I SAID YES ❤️,” she captioned a photo of her ring and Kaulitz’s smiling face. Will she be sharing any wedding photos too?

Klum was previously married to the singer Seal, but they officially divorced in 2014. They share three children together: Henry, 14, Johan, 12, and Lou, 9. The former Project Runway host is also a mother to 15-year-old Leni, whom she had with ex Flavio Briatore.

Klum, 46, addressed judgements about her age difference with Kaulitz, 29, in an interview with InStyle last summer.

My boyfriend is many years younger than me, and lots of people are questioning that and asking about it,” she told the magazine. “That’s really the only time when age seems to be shoved in my face and I have to give an answer for it. I don’t really think about it that much otherwise. You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think because worrying is only going to give you more wrinkles.”

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Amazon Unveils Judges, Title of Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn’s Fashion Competition Series

‘Making the Cut’ filmed its first challenge in Paris on Tuesday as Klum, Gunn and a star-studded judges panel began their search for the next global fashion icon.

Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday released its first look at Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn’s fashion competition series, titled Making the Cut. The show filmed its first challenge on Tuesday in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris as Klum, Gunn and a star-studded judges panel began their search for the next global fashion icon.

So far, announced judges and guest judges include supermodel Naomi Campbell, TV personality-turned-designer Nicole Richie, former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld and CFDA winner and Altuzarra creative director Joseph Altuzarra.

The series — executive produced by Sara Rea, Page Feldman, Klum, Gunn and Jennifer Love for SKR Productions — brings together 12 entrepreneurs and designers from around the world who are competing to take their fledging brands to the next level in becoming a fashion phenomenon. Looks from Making the Cut will be shoppable on Amazon, and the winner of the series will receive one million dollars to invest in their brand.

Last fall, Klum spoke with The Hollywood Reporter and teased details about the show in its early stages just one month after she and Gunn announced their departure from Project Runway. Klum hosted Project Runway for 16 seasons alongside Gunn, who served as a mentor to contestants.

I’m really trying to straddle the artistry of fashion design and the commerce part of it. When you’re online and you’re watching your favorite show, which is hopefully going to be ours, you’ll have the commerce aspect for the first time,” she told THR. “When you see a design that you actually love, you can buy it. It’s not only great for the consumer, but it’s also amazing for our designers. We never had that aspect where we could actually help the designers to really branch out into the real world like this on Project Runway.

Making the Cut is set to hit Amazon Prime Video in 2020.

Supermodel Heidi Klum, 45, and Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, 29, may have just gotten engaged on Dec. 24, but that hasn’t stopped them from going full-speed ahead with wedding planning! Since both Heidi and Tom are German, it only makes sense that the engaged couple would want to celebrate their love in their home country! They’re planning on a $1 million wedding in Germany, with delicious German delicacies to serve their guests, according to a new report by Life & Style.

[Heidi is] going all out on a huge, over-the-top wedding in Cologne, not far from where she’s from,” a source told Life & Style. “She says it’s going to be a love-fest full of their families and all the best German food – like bratwursts, schnitzel, and of course, beer! – and traditions. Heidi’s never been this happy!” The source said that Heidi and Tom will share their vows in both English and German. “Tom says he’s already written his vows,” the source said. “Heidi is still working on hers.

Heidi has a lot of experience walking runways and being admired for her gorgeous model appearance, but many people will probably be wondering what she’ll wear down one of the most important runways of her life: the wedding aisle. “Heidi is going for all-white and custom,” the source said about her wedding dress. “Not too frilly, more on the sexy, fitted side.

She can’t stop talking about how she and Tom are perfect for each other. They’re incredible compatible. She’s really never met anyone like Tom before and she’s not about to let him go.

Heidi Klum reveals she’s engaged to Tom Kaulitz: ‘I said yes!’

Heidi Klum got a sparkly present for Christmas this year.

The supermodel and TV personality shared a photo of her new engagement ring in a tweet on Monday. The image shows Klum smiling alongside fiance Tom Kaulitz with the caption “I SAID YES.

Klum, 45, and musician Kaulitz, 29, have been dating for about eight months. The two have starred in plenty of loving photos on her Instagram, including in their epic couple costume this Halloween: They went as ogre Shrek and Princess Fiona.

This will be the second marriage for Klum, who divorced Seal in 2012 after six years of marriage. In the past, Klum said she was not considering remarrying any time soon. She told Marie Claire in 2013 this about the possibility of a wedding: “Maybe if I’m with someone for 15 or 20 years, and we do it in our old age as a fun thing to do. … But I don’t have the urgency anymore.”

But a lot has changed since Klum said that, including her start and end of a relationship with bodyguard Martin Kirsten, several seasons of judging “America’s Got Talent” and her departure from hosting “Project Runway” to start a new Amazon fashion series.

Merry Christmas to the happy couple.

Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn Bolt ‘Project Runway’ for New Amazon Series

Auf wiedersehen, indeed.

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, the stars who turned “Project Runway” into one of the first and biggest cable reality-TV hits of the previous decade, are saying goodbye to that venerable series and making the leap to streaming. The duo has signed a deal to develop a new fashion-oriented reality show for Amazon Studios.

Details of the new program are not yet known, and no producers are yet attached. Sources tell Variety that Amazon will open a competitive process for production companies to vie to oversee the new show.

Klum and Gunn’s Amazon deal throws into question the future of “Project Runway,” whose season-16 finale aired last year on cable channel Lifetime. Bravo, the show’s original network home, made a surprise announcement in May that the series would return to the NBCUniversal-owned channel for its next season with longtime production company Magical Elves again on board.

After 16 incredible seasons, I am saying ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ to ‘Project Runway,’ a show that I was honored to host and help create,” said Klum. “I am incredibly proud of the show, and it will always have a special place in my heart. I am so appreciative of the dedicated fans, and most of all, I am grateful that we could shine a light on creativity and help launch so many talented designers’ careers. I’m most excited that my journey with my dear friend and colleague, Tim Gunn, is far from over. We will be partnering with Amazon for a new show, and we’re excited for everyone to see what we’re designing next!”

Gunn added: “I am grateful to ‘Project Runway’ for putting me on a path I never, in my wildest dreams, thought my career would take me! I am so proud to have been a part of the groundbreaking process that showcased talented young designers as never before. Most importantly, I am indebted to our incredible fans, they are the heart and soul of what we do, and continue to inspire us to raise the bar in this arena. I’m excited for them to see what’s next, as I partner with Amazon and Heidi Klum on our next great ‘fashion’ adventure.

The deal with Klum and Gunn is the most recent with high-profile talent for Amazon under Jenifer Salke, the former NBC exec who became head of the tech giant’s entertainment division earlier this year. Amazon has in recent months set deals with Nicole Kidman, Jordan Peele, and Barry Jenkins.

Heidi Klum completely changed the television landscape by developing a competitive reality fashion series that was unproven and different from what was popular on-air,” Salke said. “The show became wildly successful, and in turn Klum and Tim Gunn have become an iconic pop culture duo. Their drive to deliver fashionably entertaining, engaging and trendsetting content speaks for itself, and we believe their next iteration in this space will find an even larger audience on our global Prime Video runway.

Gunn is represented by CAA and attorney Eric Weissler. Klum is represented by CAA, Harvey Markowitz, and attorneys Daniel Passman and Harold Brown.

Designer Zac Posen, who has served as as a judge on the six most recent seasons of “Project Runway,” is also leaving the show.

Working alongside Heidi, Nina and Tim as a judge for six seasons of ‘Project Runway’ was one of the greatest experiences of my career. I will cherish the opportunity the show gave me to learn from and grow with my co-judges, the producers, crew and designers. Runway has led to incredible opportunities and I am currently at work on some new projects that I am very excited to share with you soon. I wish the show and everyone much success always.”

Bravo and producer Magical Elves are in the process of recasting “Project Runway.” “Bravo is proud to bring ‘Project Runway’ back where it all began, and Heidi and Tim will always be a huge part of the legacy,” a Bravo spokesperson said in a statement. “The series will continue its iconic impact with Bravo’s reboot for the next generation of designers and fans. We are excited to announce our new host and mentor very soon.
